The Digital Consulting business unit of Wood is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Technical Sales Manager to promote and deliver our wide portfolio of cutting-edge digital solutions to our diverse and growing client base in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa geographical region.
We welcome applicants from across the UK, with flexibility on location. Wood has several offices throughout the UK and offer hybrid working opportunities.
The Role
The Technical Sale Manager will work alongside our subject matter experts to shape and support digital software solutions and offerings to prospective customers across a range of markets, including Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences and Renewables / Energy Transition, and Utilities. You will work closely with the Wood Growth and Development team, expanding, tracking, and monitoring our sales pipeline to support the ongoing success and sustainable growth of the business.
As The Technical Sales Manager you will have the expert knowledge to identifying market trends and client-specific opportunities for a range of Wood proprietary digital solutions. You will be responsible for the identification, validation and leadership of key prospects and opportunities. The role will require someone who can lead the development of win strategies and market engagement plans to support long term sustainable growth.
In this role you will interact with several key stakeholders, including external clients, software product managers, the business unit leadership team and the broad internal network within Wood’s global framework.
The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experience with the technical sale of software products and digital consulting solutions. A sound understanding of client relationship management processes and the ability to collaborate with external and internal partners.
