As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineering Consultant - Batteries and Renewables, you will collaborate <br> with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to assess site suitability, conduct feasibility studies, and provide expert guidance on the Civil <br> Engineering aspects of Battery and Renewables projects. Your expertise in civil design, site development, and construction management will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of Battery and Renewable projects. <br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <br> <ul> <li> Collaborate with clients to understand their energy storage goals, project requirements, and site-specific Battery and Renewables installation considerations. </li> <li> Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the suitability and viability of potential locations for Battery and Renewables projects. </li> <li> Provide expert advice on civil engineering aspects of Battery and Renewables projects, including site design, grading, foundations, drainage, and access road development. </li> <li> Work closely with engineering teams to develop comprehensive civil design plans and specifications for Battery and Renewables projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. </li> <li> Coordinate with geotechnical engineers to perform soil investigations and provide recommendations for foundation design and construction. </li> <li> Review environmental assessments and consenting requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and addressing any potential impacts. </li> <li> Collaborate with contractors and construction teams during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and project timelines. </li> <li> Conduct quality control inspections and monitoring throughout the construction process to ensure the integrity and compliance of civil works. </li> <li> Guide the integration of civil engineering aspects with other project disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical engineering, to ensure seamless project execution. </li> <li> Support clients in the procurement process, including evaluating bids and proposals, reviewing contractor qualifications, and providing technical input during contract negotiations. </li> <li> Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates related to batteries and Renewables, civil engineering, providing strategic recommendations and best practices to clients. </li> <li> Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements through continuous learning and professional development. </li> <li> Flexibility to travel to client sites and project locations as required. </li> </ul> <br><br> <b>Here's What You'll Need:</b><br><br> <ul> <li> Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related field. </li> <li> Proven experience as a Civil Consultant or in a similar consulting role focused on energy or infrastructure projects. </li> <li> Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, focusing on site development, grading, drainage, and foundation design. </li> <li> Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing civil engineering aspects of energy storage projects. </li> <li> Demonstrated experience in conducting site assessments, feasibility studies etc. for infrastructure projects. </li> <li> Proficiency in understanding and reviewing civil engineering design drawings produced using software and tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications. </li> <li> Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex site conditions and provide effective solutions. </li> <li> Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage stakeholder expectations. </li> <li> Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities. </li> <li> Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers from different disciplines. </li> </ul> <br> If you are a motivated experienced Civil Engineering Consultant with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for renewable <br> energy, we invite you to apply.
