Working closely with our managers and senior leaders, you will be developing strategies that further cultivate a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, while optimizing employees' abilities to drive success.You’ll need a solid HR generalist background with a particular passion for people development and the importance of delivering engaging learning experiences across the organisation.We are considering applications in the range of £58,000 - £63,000 (dependant on experience) plus a competitive quarterly bonus.What you’ll be doing..People Operations:Working with managers to understand and devise interventions to address the people-related needs of various teams and individuals.Acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, providing guidance and support on a wide range of people-related matters.Providing practical and timely advice and support on all ER matters and overseeing the more complex ER issues.Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesCollaborating with talent acquisition colleagues to support recruitment and selection processes, ensuring we attract and onboard top talent.Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.People Development:Partnering with the VP, People to design, develop and deliver the L & D strategy.Using knowledge of digital learning tools, brining innovative and creative ideas to transform the way we deliver learning interventions at Verdantix.Working with the Executive Team to build management and leadership capabilities across the organisation, providing recommendations to address skill gaps.Supporting the development of talent frameworks, career discussions, including goal setting, performance evaluations.Generating ideas to enhance structured graduate career pathways and effective apprenticeships.What we’re looking for..Degree educated with CIPD level 5+ or equivalent post-graduate HR degree desirable.A track record of success as a people generalist, minimum of 5 years' experience.Up to date understanding of UK employment legislation essential, US employment legislation knowledge is desirable but not essential.Exception communication skills utilised in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders of all levels.Exposure to the development, design and delivery of successful training programs aligned to organisation goals and objectives.Experience of supporting apprenticeship and graduate programmes.Previous involvement in driving Demonstrate a steadfast dedication to progressing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.Working knowledge of HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS) tools and technology.Confidence in working flexibility in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting demands with a constructive, practical, and problem-solving mindset.Strong ethics, able maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.Additional benefits:Performance-driven quarterly bonus and recognition schemePension with enhanced employer contributionGenerous holiday entitlement, accruing an extra day with every year worked (local capping applies)Hybrid working option with the aim of promoting flexibility and work-life balancePrivate medical insurance including online GP service, mental health support, discounted gym membershipsEnhanced family-friendly benefitsWeekly ‘flexi-hour’ to extend a lunch break or finish early on your day of choiceCycle to work scheme - tax efficient purchase of a bike, bike accessories, or bothTime off for volunteering through our partner OnHand: an app for local volunteering and climate actionMultiple events throughout the year, including Company Ramble & Sports Day, plus regular team socialsFantastic colleagues with a great sense of humour!Why Verdantix?We seek individuals with a passionate belief that innovation and technology can transform corporate EHS, operational risk and real estate performance.
