The Role
Developing customers within the HoReCa sector on a national basis, this will be a combination of new business development and account management.
Managing a trade customer portal, looking at customers, their buying habits and developing business
Retaining and growing their buying group business, targeting new ones and maximising sales
Attending exhibitions, meeting customers and networking through the company’s presence at the events
Dealing with buying teams at the head office level and collaborating with wholesalers to secure new customer relationships
A key part of the role will be new business development, identifying the potential customer and finding the key decision makers after establishing a route to market.
P & L responsibility, price negotiations and promotion management
Personal Profile
Experience within account management in a sales/commercial role within the UK Wholesale and Foodservice sectors
An organised self-starter, innovative with a positive approach and a solution focussed attitude
Commercially astute with a keen eye for detail
A tenacious, self-starter, with a hunger to drive new business
Ideally educated to degree level & IT literate
Outstanding networking skills, preferably with established contacts in the industry
Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work as part of the team
This is a home based role but there will be a requirement to travel to visit customers and you will be expected to go to the London office 2 or 3 times a month
