About This Job : As a Key Account Manager, Urology, for your designated territory and specialist brands, you play a crucial role in driving success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft local account plans, fostering advocacy, optimal access, and increased uptake of our specialized products. Engage with healthcare stakeholders, including payers and healthcare professionals, to ensure our specialty brands are readily available. Your mission is to eliminate local barriers, accelerate access, and expand prescribing opportunities in key accounts. Facilitate the seamless integration of our specialty brands into NHS services, influencing local pathways, guidelines, and treatment protocols. Translate valuable NHS insights into actionable strategies, speeding up the growth of local accounts. Implement cross-functional tactics to create an unrestricted prescribing environment, positioning our specialty brands earlier in the treatment paradigm. Your ultimate goals are to drive product usage across the health economy, ensure positive protocols and guidelines are implemented locally, and achieve sales targets while expanding market share in your assigned accounts. Develop clinical advocates aligned with Astellas' vision and collaborate with NHS localities to devise innovative solutions that benefit patients, the NHS, and Astellas alike. Your efforts contribute to a triple win for all involved. You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients. Key Activities for this role:
Accountable for delivery of the sales target for their given territory Seen as the local NHS expert with a clear understanding of the evolving NHS landscape, able to simplify a complex NHS environment. Strong existing relationships with key NHS stakeholders across the local environment in all layers, primary, secondary, tertiary, and payor landscapes Development of the local sales forecast and roll-up into the regional forecast plan To achieve territory sales targets through call rates, coverage, and frequency of calling on identified customers, including but not limited to: Payors e.g., Medicines Management, Optimisation Leads, Business / Service Managers, etc. Develop and execute local value propositions with clinical and payer stakeholders to create the optimal access environment for advocates to champion the use of speciality brands. Essential Knowledge & Experience: Pharma sector experience in Key account management. Able to deliver effective local forecasts and demonstrate business ownership. Willing/able to drive, valid driving license. Appreciation of relevant Compliance and Regulatory legislation, application, and forthcoming changes Experienced in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Preferred Knowledge & Experience: Ideally, life sciences-related degree. Market access experience is beneficial. Educations/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent. (ABPI) Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry qualified. Additional Information: This a permanent, full-time position This position is field-based in (UK/Norfolk & Waveney, Suffolk & North East Essex, Bedfordshire Luton & Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough) and as reasonably required by the business travel is expected in line with your role.
