The O pportunity
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic homebased UK qualified lawyer with 5 + years experience in the IT industry to join a small team of senior lawyers supporting Worldline’s business in the UK.
With such a wide array of products, you will find the work is varied, often complex and the pace is fast. We work very closely with the commercial, sales and operational teams so this is an opportunity to be deeply involved with the organisation and to enjoy relationships at all levels.
On a day to day level you will be supporting the business by advising on bids and tenders, preparing and negotiating contracts for solutions that have been sold and advising the business on appropriate contractual structures for new business offerings. Most contracts that we deal with are bespoke to the customer or to the solutions that we offer, offering variety and interest to your day to day work. As a more junior member of the team you will be supported by other members of the team to understand the business products and how we contract for them.
The legal team supports all legal issues that face a company. Therefore there are opportunities to be involved in supporting the wider legal needs of the business including regulatory compliance requirements, data protection issues, to support the procurement function, to work with members of the contract management team and be involved in managing any disputes that might arise.
The legal team is a friendly and collegiate team and you will be well supported by more senior members of the team in your new role. We are a truly cohesive team but we all work remotely from all over the country. You need to be happy to work remotely but also be prepared to travel to meetings as and when required.
