Global Industry Relations Manager (EMEA) resource is to help with maintaining and obtaining registry accreditations for Markmonitor and will coordinate with both internal and external clients, partners and third-party providers to improve client service offerings. The Global Industry Relations Manager will develop and maintain relationships with numerous industry representatives, help to leverage those relationships with clients, and consult on domain name policy and best practices.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.
Establish, maintain, and leverage external relationships with, registrars, retailers, law firms, government agencies, investigative firms, and law enforcement agencies where appropriate;
Work with members of industry to create or improve partnerships, products and services;
Develop and maintain internal relationships with Sales, Product, Managed Services, Professional Services, and other key roles within the Markmonitor company
Liaising with Data Privacy teams relating to GDPR and data processing processes and queries and registry requirements and other legal policy related developments.
Refining Markmonitor current processes for handling PII;
Thought leadership pieces relating to DNS Abuse, Domain name Policy, Product and developments in the industry;
Work with members of industry to create or improve partnerships, products and services associated with the position;
Develop and maintain internal relationships with Technology Team, Sanctions Team, Legal Team, Sales, Managed Services, Professional Services, and other key roles within the Markmonitor company;
Act as a point of contact for escalations from the Customer experience and Sales Teams
Be the subject matter expert for Markmonitor on domain names, security and related industry subjects;
Represent MarkMonitor at industry events including ICANN, INTA and technology related events where necessary.
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
5 years of Domain name industry experience;
DNS abuse knowledge and prior experience;
Exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment;
Excellent at prioritization and time management;
Ability and desire to rapidly learn new skills and adapt to changing business environment;
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure;
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
