JOB TITLE: Ethics & Compliance Officer (Senior Sanctions Specialist)

LOCATION: Remote UK-based Flexible Working with travel as required

TYPE : Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. Job Overview :

We are looking for a mid-level 2nd line Compliance Officer to support out compliance function.

We require a motivated and ambitious professional, who is keen to provide broad 2nd line compliance support with experience in monitoring, regulatory compliance, and supporting customers with their Due Diligence requirements. Engagement required in each of these areas will vary depending on team priorities, and the role therefore requires someone with a flexible approach who enjoys variety and multi-tasking.

There is room to possibly grow within the team and within the wider DXC company. The candidate ideally also has experience in the insurance industry, but other financial services related or IT Technology related services are also helpful and desired.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring:

2nd line monitoring work includes monitoring of effectiveness of controls for compliance risks in the areas of Sanctions, Data Privacy and other regulatory areas impacting Velonetic. Typical tasks will include:

Regulatory Compliance & Horizon Scanning:

There is an increasing expectation for Velonetic to be more closely aligned with its customers from a regulatory perspective and there is also a possibility that Velonetic may become regulated for certain activities.

Knowledge Repository & Customer DD:

Maintenance of the Knowledge Repository which provides customers access to contractually agreed documentation, and, coordinating/assisting customers with completion of DD questionnaires where required
