Your new company
Working via Hays for our valued client, you will be on an ongoing temporary contract which will be for up to 12 months. This role offers an immediate start, working full time from Monday to Friday where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay in addition to mileage. This role is based in the Moray and Aberdeenshire area, therefore you would be required to be based in this area or able to work in this local area.
Your new role
In your new role as an EPC surveyor, you will conduct EPC surveys in accordance to industry standards. You will then provide advice and recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. You will provide accurate and detailed reports on your findings. You will then liaise with the wider team to advise on work required to bring the properties up to standard. Once the required upgrades have been completed, you will then carry out a new survey of the properties to confirm that the energy improvements have been completed.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position, you must have previous experience of EPC surveys and producing reports. Ideally, you will be an accredited domestic energy assessor. You will have knowledge of energy efficiency measures and technologies. Excellent communication skills are vital in this role - you will be liaising with tenants, contractors and the wider team and must produce reports and advice clearly. This role will have you work both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive rate of pay and secure a long-term contract of approximately 12 months. You will be paid weekly via Hays and receive mileage for all business travel in addition to your hourly rate.
