About the role The post holder is responsible for managing the team delivering all front-line customer services at the UCL East Library. They will contribute to help point and enquiry services, including evening and weekend cover when required. They will also participate in on-site support for taught academic programmes at the campus and provide line management for the two Senior Library Assistants and daytime Library Assistants, undertaking probations and appraisals and ensuring that training needs are identified and met. The post holder will deputise for the Library Manager in their absence. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. Additionally, the willingness to try new ideas and keen to contribute to the development of UCL East Library will help contribute to your success in this position.
