What are we looking for?
Due to a period of significant growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity to join our team as a CSR Auditor where you will join our existing Internal and Supplier Audit team, working with clients both nationally and internationally.
In your role as a CSR Auditor, you will work collaboratively and consultatively with clients and our internal teams to understand client needs and ensure all programmes are delivered effectively.
You will work closely with our internal sales team to understand client needs, support growth and take ownership for all aspects of operational delivery for each programme from inception to completion. You’ll lead the planning, management and delivery of internal and supply chain audits for our clients, including engaging with our international colleagues on our global programmes.
As well as delivering audits, the role includes developing audit materials, attending client meetings, monitoring KPIs, technical reviews, client satisfaction, providing reporting dashboards and performance reporting for clients and internally.
For larger clients there may also be the opportunity to work as the lead programme manager or providing UK support to other international programmes.
About you:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is interested in their continuous professional development and looking to broaden their responsibilities.
You’ll already be a trained management system & CSR Auditor and holding APSCA CSCA qualification is preferred, but not essential as support will be provided to the right candidate to attain this). Whilst there will be a focus on ethical supply chain auditing, it is likely that you will have broader experience of auditing in disciplines such as quality, environment and health and safety; experience of ISO9001, ISO14001 and/or ISO45001 and industry programmes such as SEDEX/SMETA is also beneficial.
You will demonstrate an ability to manage and deliver complex, multi-site, multi-disciplinary audit programmes, along with a willingness to develop your skills and expertise. Every day will be different, so a positive mindset, ability to think on your feet, make your own decisions and work unsupervised are all essential qualities. The customer really is king in this role, so your passion for delivering excellent customer service must shine through.
Initially, you will be part of a small operational delivery team, and so your people and team approach will be of paramount importance.
Your entrepreneurial flare and willingness to develop your skills will be a key in helping you to work with clients to help them solve their internal and supplier challenges.
