£26,388 - £33,301 plus £500 Home working allowance per annum
Full time, 35 hours per week
Successful candidates will need to ideally be within South Wales as regular contact with prospects and partners will be required.
Due to the formation of the new Wales Fundraising Board we are looking for a talented Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the team to help us deliver a portfolio of exciting corporate partnerships and events, to identify and secure new corporate partnerships and support the work of the wider UK team. This exciting new role will give you the chance to change the future for thousands of children.
The role is based in the Community Supporters team. We have delivered strategic partnerships, commercial activity, and all sizes of charity of the year programmes across the UK. We are incredibly passionate and committed to invest in and help individuals to achieve their career goals and aspirations, as we place that at the very heart of our team ethos. Previous members of the team have gone on to senior leadership positions within the NSPCC and lead teams at other well-known charities.
We are looking for someone with well-developed business acumen and experience of working with one or more commercial sectors. You will have experience and success in developing relationships in order to achieve results within a fundraising, sales or marketing environment. You will be committed to maximising income generation and you will have experience of delivering strategic plans, budget management and generating new business. This role will also create, manage and deliver a portfolio of fundraising and stewardship events led by the Wales Fundraising Board to engage with new and existing Welsh corporate supporters both in and outside of Wales.
If you are the right person for this post, you are likely to have a proven track record of delivery against high targets and be organised, ambitious, commercial, tenacious and ready for a challenge. Event management experience would be an advantage.
Whilst the role is primarily home based, there is an expectation for the successful candidate to travel freely across Wales (travel expensed), plus occasionally travel to other parts of the country for team meetings, training and to support the wider team.
In return, we can offer a flexible working arrangement to ensure a healthy work/life balance. The successful candidate may wish to work from their local NSPCC offices (Cardiff or Prestatyn) from time to time or may have individual circumstances that can be discussed at interview.
We also offer a variety of benefits including 29 days annual leave + bank holidays increasing to 32 days after 5 years' service, employee benefits and assistance programme, generous matched pension, and life assurance schemes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading children's charity and work alongside a friendly, passionate and dedicated team. If you share our passion about the impact you can create for children, we'd love to hear from you.
Interviews are expected to be in early February 2024.
