Autism Support Specialist – Oxford – Full time position starting ASAP

A top Specialist School in Oxford are looking for someone to join their friendly team as an Autism Support Specialist, helping students with a range of additional needs throughout the school day, with the primary need being Autism. The school is an all-through school and caters for both primary- and secondary-age pupils.
As an Autism Support Specialist, you will provide both 1:1 support and small group support, helping to boost the students’ numeracy and literacy understanding, as well as involve their general communication and their life skills. If you are creative and innovative, and feel confident that you can make the classroom a fun and inclusive learning environment, whilst also catering to the needs of each pupil, then you would be a fantastic Autism Support Specialist.
If you undertake this role, you would work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm and expect to earn between £75 to £85 per day. Not only that but by working with students with a range of additional needs, and by providing them with academic and emotional support, you will gain first-hand experience necessary to pursue a career as a Psychologist, Counsellor, Therapist, Social Worker or Teacher. This role will provide excellent experience that will be sure to make you stand out!
