Our sustainability team is at the heart of our programme to shape and deliver a new, resilient future for Lincolnshire. We are looking for a sustainability officer at the beginning of their career, or who perhaps is looking to change their career path, to support our small and dedicated team.
You will play a key role in gathering and analysing the evidence we need to drive our sustainability agenda, keeping track of current projects and helping to shape and get new initiatives off the ground. Long experience in local government is not essential, but you will have a passion for the subject and a will to learn, to succeed and to achieve results.
This is a service with a growing public profile, and we can offer the opportunity to develop your career in a fast moving area where you will work with elected members, officers from many different professional backgrounds, and with committed community groups.

We are offering a competitive salary of £19,171 – £20,344, along with a pension, a comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes, cycle to work, civil service sports council membership and many areas for professional support and development.
