Senior Mechanical InspectorLocation: Surrey, United Kingdom

Our engineering client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Inspector with CMM experience to support the quality department consisting of goods-in inspection, final inspection and test working to ISO9001 standards.
The mechanical inspector must have the experience of:
Goods In
Final inspection
CNC Machines Components
Able to fully understand engineering drawings.
Can use all types of measuring equipment.
Able to write programs for a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine.
Carry out functional testing of finished product (which can be strenuous).
Conduct internal audits of procedures in accordance with ISO9001 requirements.
Visit suppliers to conduct audits and inspections as necessary.
Write in-depth Procedures and Inspection Instructions.
Good at problem analysis and fault finding.
Good computer skills. Experienced with MS Office suite of applications.
Good report writing skills.
A flexible approach and willing to take on a multitude of tasks in different areas of the company.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to liaise at a senior level with confidence.
Familiar with the principles of Statistical Process Control.
Familiar with the requirements for calibration within a modern manufacturing environment.
Engineering qualification required.
Salary circa 27,000 Plus Profit Bonus paid monthly.
Six weeks full salary sick pay after qualifying period.
Immediate enrolment to pension scheme 4.2 % from employer on minimum 3.5% employee contribution. If employee remains in the pension scheme then a 4 x last 12 months earnings life insurance is a free incentive.
25 days per year holiday plus 8 days statutory holidays. Raises to 26 + 8 after five full years service.
Subsidised canteen.
Hours of work: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3:30pm Friday Total 39 hours weekly
