SEN Teaching Assistant Position: Mainstream PrimaryDo you love working with children?Are you experienced or looking to start to get into a Teaching Assistant role?The School and Job:Teaching Personnel have a long standing relationship with a School in Chertsey. They have a specialist support unit on site to cater for children with SEN. The children who need additional support have their core lessons in the unit in the morning and the remainder of their day is back in mainstream.They cater for boys and girlswith additional special needs such as Autism, ADHD and Complex Learning Needs.The most important trait that prospective applicants should have is an engaging personality and a willingness to help. Applicants with a good attitude to work and the ability to be pro-active will thrive in this Primary school.Minimum Requirements
Any relevant SEN/Autism experience or qualifications is desired, however not essential so please still applyA passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potentialDedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic supportA Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching PersonnelGood interpersonal skills and confidencePunctual and reliableEnjoys a challenge
