Principal Data Scientist required by a cutting-edge tech company in Manchester, who have designed a one of a kind product. The Company: A tech start-up who have come up with an industry leading product which will change the way we interact with technology in our day to day lives. A big claim, but from seeing their product first hand during a presentation from the CEO, one I think they can deliver on.The proof of concept phase is over, and they are now keen to deliver on several key commercial agreements, which is the natural next step for the company.Headed up by a couple of passionate, switched on Directors, you will be working in a tight-knit team that are very much pulling in the same direction. You: As you will be working for a data analytics start-up, technical & mathematical problems are par for the course. You will be dealing with a variety of key stakeholders so will need to be able to communicate with them at both a technical and non-technical level. One of the biggest areas for our client is the desire to continue your professional development, keeping abreast of the ever-changing world of data and how that applies to their product. They are very much of the opinion that if you are standing still, you are going backwards. You will also thrive on the opportunity to grow, teach and mentor a team – if you just want to get the head down and build complex models, this probably isn’t the role for you. However, if you are ambitious and up for a challenge – it could be the perfect match.
