Primary Support Staff Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an experienced support staff member to assist children with Special Educational Needs within a mainstream school.You would be working within a classroom environment in either a group or a 1:1 setting.As some children may express challenging behaviour, we are looking for someone who can follow behaviour policies and additional training such as Team Teach may be beneficial for the role. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills.We have a leading CPD Academy to support staff members who wish to develop their skills further.The Role:
Offer 1:1 support both in and out of class.You will need to take into accountchildren’slearning styles and what motivates them to stay engaged, using positive behaviour management.Working in both KS1 And KS2
Support staff requirements:
SEN experience is crucial.Have a good knowledge of behaviour management techniques, be patient and sensitiveStrong ability to assist children with a wide range of learning abilities.Full flexibility on travel and start times.You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a teamAccess to own car
