The Role
Are you a confident Payroll Clerk who would be interested in gaining a CIPP qualification? We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Clerk to join an established, family run accountancy practice on an initially 6 month temporary contract with the opportunity of permanent employment for a candidate able to prove themselves in the Wellingborough,
Northamptonshire area.
The Client
Our client are a growing family run accountancy practice who provide services including bookkeeping and payroll functions to SME business’ in the Northamptonshire area. They pride themselves on providing a personalised service for a variety of personal and business clientele across a range of industries, such as:

As a growing family run business, they have recently acquired a company within financial services and are looking for a motivated individual to join a small close knit office in Wellingborough Northamptonshire to manage the payroll services.
The Candidate
Acting as a key point of contact within the practice to approximately 40/50 clients regarding all payroll services. You will be responsible for running their payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis. Whilst the majority of the week you will be carrying out the payroll function during quieter times you will be expected to help out with some of the office administration and general bookkeeping as required.
For the right candidate who is able to prove themselves over a 6 month period there will be the opportunity of a permanent contract and possibility of a funded CIPP qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain further qualifications and training in a payroll function.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
However part-time applicants who are able to work a minimum of 25 hours a week will also be considered.
