Finance Manager job in Chippenham A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join my client, a residential developer based in Wiltshire.
They develop a range of new homes and are passionate about providing great places to live, the group is a major housing provider in the area with major growth plans.
This is a really exciting time to be joining a company with significant growth plans. It has a business plan that aims to generate profits of 5 million from building approximately 200 homes each year. They specialise in providing new homes for sale across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, ranging from luxury homes in rural locations to innovative modern low energy homes and apartments within urban areas.
Following a period of restructure over the last 12 months, the corporate finance team is now being enhanced to ensure it can support the business to achieve its continued ambitious strategic goals. As a result, a permanent role is on offer to oversee and coordinate the effective running of the finance business partner service for this house-building company, in addition to other work on development opportunities within the Group.
The role will champion the delivery of the Boards strategic direction and objectives for development by effectively ensuring the development activities align with the long term strategic plan through providing a balance of support, advice and challenge to the development leadership team. The role requires not only core technical, analytical, finance and accounting skills, but very importantly, also strategic awareness, commercial acumen, business understanding, and influencing and negotiating skills. Knowledge of working with Boards and senior executives on financial and operational strategy is also essential. Ideally you will have experience of working for a residential developer in a similar role.
