Director, Biostatistics – Oncology BioPharma Strong Salary

A growing specialist Oncology Biopharma with significant backing from a larger parent organization is looking to add a third Biostatistician to its biostats group.

• Report into the Head of Biometrics

Role:
The Director will have significant influence on how the department utilises its technical capabilities, ensuring it remains at the forefront of statistical methodologies. They will work on projects ranging in complexity and will contribute to portfolio-level, strategy. The successful candidate will also act as a consultant to the wider business, offering statistical support to other teams across a broad range of topics within their expertise.

Required:

• MS (with supplementary experience) or PhD in related discipline
• Experience leading studies, programmes and/or compounds
• Broad knowledge of statistical methodologies
• Good SAS skills and other knowledge of other statistical software preferred
• Demonstrable study leadership skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex statistical issues to a range of audience (statistical and not)
