Relentless pursuit of better As a valued member of our Business Legal Affairs Team, you will play a key role in providing world-class strategic commercial legal advice and support to our money transfer and payments business in the UK and Western Europe. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in respect of new and existing products. You will provide expert, strategic, and creative legal advice to business leaders. As part of your role, you will research, analyze and monitor new and existing laws relevant to our business in the UK and Western Europe, in coordination with other legal colleagues, and you will help to manage outside counsel wisely. You will be part of a global but closely connected team of hard-working lawyers in an open, diverse, and friendly environment. For you to be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience in delivering strategic business legal support, with a focus on financial services or payments, which you might have gained in a law firm or a corporate legal department. You will be customer-focused, collaborative, proactive, and innovative. You will need to hold a Law degree, be a fully qualified lawyer, and have relevant post-qualification experience. Having experience working in a multinational environment, corporate, capital markets, and foreign language skills is an advantage. Previous experience with agile working methodologies is also desirable.
