Job Description

We are looking for an experienced strategic and transformation leader to take our Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) into a new and exciting future.

Our Partnership, between Aberdeenshire Council and NHS Grampian strives to ‘Build on a person’s abilities by delivering high quality person-centred care to enhance their independence and well-being in their own community’.

The Chief Officer will be responsible for the range of services agreed by the Integrated Job Board and lead the planning, resourcing, performance management and operational delivery of all integrated services within the Strategic Plan for Aberdeenshire HSCP.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a large and complex multi-functional organisation, preferably within a Health & Social Care setting, and have a track record of operating at senior management level and leading transformational change. Highly developed political and relationship management skills are required due to the complex political operating environment and range of stakeholders involved in the work of the partnership at a local, regional and national level.

Leading a workforce of 3,500 and with a budget of £330 million, the successful candidate will require significant financial management, workforce, strategic, risk and planning experience as well as experience of working with inspection and scrutiny agencies at a senior level.
