Becoming a Business Analyst Procurement Specialist with Smart DCC:
Fantastic opportunity to secure a Business Analyst Procurement Specialist contract role based in Manchester or London on an initial 6 months contract. The Business Analyst Procurement Specialist will be expected work with various internal teams and external parties to elicit, analyse and validate requirements, including documenting business processes for various programmes and initiatives.Please only apply if you have extensive Procurement project experience as this is an essential element of this role.
What youll be doing:
Work with the business subject matter experts to identify, challenge and document the business requirements for procurement projects
Capture, document and communicate the business requirements for procurement projects at a level of detail enough to enable respondents to the procurement process to determine how to best deliver a solution that satisfies the procurements objectives
Review detailed commercial contracts to extract technical, regulatory and legal requirements
Work with stakeholders to clarify the business impact and possibly benefits of a proposed set of requirements as well as contribute to the cost/benefit analysis and business case.
Identify and evaluate the technical options for addressing the business requirements and be able to summarise those requirements to senior stakeholders within the DCC business
Maintains full traceability of the Requirements throughout a procurement project lifecycle.
What were looking for:
Extensiveexperience of developing requirements for procurement projects
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills allied with creativity and lateralthinking.
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Significantknowledge and experience of developing requirements for the full procurement lifecycle from Requests For Information, Tender packs.
Experienced inworking with IS/IT service providers, and knowledgeable about current trends in the IS/IT market.
Experience ofworking on technical software delivery projects in a business analysiscapacity.
