About the role: You will be responsible for generating new business and nurturing existing clients. Developing a consultative style, your approach will understand the customers business, help identify their needs and then propose appropriate solutions. You must have at least 18 months agency experience, be innovative, creative and above all enthusiastic and passionate. The role requires you to: generate new business and business from existing customers research clients” products, services, plans, competitors and target markets meet clients for briefings and present proposals to clients for approval brief agency colleagues, and work with them to plan and implement the best creative solutions for the client ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Long hours are common, and you will be expected to work flexibly to meet project deadlines. the role is predominately office-based but you will travel frequently for client meetings. Own transport is therefore essential network with other businesses pro-actively meeting clients to discuss strategy and report on progress responding to clients” requests as they arise taking part in pitches for new contracts keep client records and timesheets up to date and handle invoices proof read and check artwork, keeping close track of amendments/revisions You will report directly to senior management and be involved at every level of the business. Essential skills and personal qualities You will be: quick to absorb and analyse large amounts of information enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative approachable, outgoing and diplomatic a clear communicator, in person and writing able to present ideas with conviction highly organised and flexible good with figures IT literate comfortable working as part of a team skilled at negotiating and motivating others commercially aware smart in appearance. educated to degree level in a relevant subject Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation/Google Adwords (theory, not practice) Experience of running email marketing campaigns Use of website content management systems such as WordPress, Magento Basic knowledge of Adobe CS software Copy writing In return we are offering a salary of 13,500 – 15,500 per annum depending on experience, plus mileage and travel expenses, 28 days holiday per year, plus generous target related bonus scheme.
