Reporting into the Head of Sales, the Account Director will be responsible for the ownership of a specific top tier client/clients.

With a key focus on sales, strategy the emphasis in the initial months will be focused on building relationships at a senior level within their key accounts and working with the HoS to understand opportunities and drive growth. This will include the ground up design and implementation of protocols, working practices, measurement and reporting, in order to create “best practice”. Whilst increasing salesforce effectiveness and being a pivotal part of a high-performance culture.

The role will be field based looking after customers in the South of England.



  • Maximise the revenue potential of the chosen clients by achieving agreed revenue and growth targets to ensure the budget expectations are met and exceeded
  • Ensure sales related KPIs, as well as revenue targets, are achieved on an ongoing basis
  • Pro-actively collaborate the wider Sales, Operations, and Marketing leadership teams
  • Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conducts sales forecasts/pipeline, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis


  • Leads strategic and tactical planning for the function, working closely with the HoS
  • Develop and execute short and long-term plans to achieve set growth objectives.
  • Ensure working practices across the team are aligned and consistent to drive sustainable revenue and growth
  • Produce measurable metrics relating to the defined growth objectives, sales performance, allocated KPIs, client satisfaction, employee engagement and operational efficiency.

Building relationships

  • Develop and maintain senior relationships within the clients, creating new revenue opportunities by understanding each client’s needs
  • Building strong relationships across the wider sales leadership team
  • Demonstrate inspirational account, leading by example and driving best practice


  • Demonstrable track record in sales, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Highly effective sales talent in a fast paced, sales focused environment
