WSP USA has an immediate opening for a Water Resources Engineer in our St. Louis, Missouri office. The successful candidate will perform technical tasks under general supervision of senior-level engineers on a diverse project workload, including storm water analysis, highway drainage, flood hazard assessment, stream hydraulic evaluation and storm water or combined-sewer conveyance.
This position requires strong technical and communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary project teams. The selected candidate will work on teams developing designs for alternative project delivery as well as conventional design-bid-build projects.

We are seeking a self-motivated engineer with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, good organizational skills, and experience working on multiple tasks/projects in a team environment.
Qualified candidates will possess a BS degree and E.I.T. in Civil, Water Resources or Environmental Engineering, plus 1 to 3 years experience in the following technical areas:
surface water hydrologic and hydraulic (H & H) modeling and analysis
water resources assessment
design of storm drains and sanitary sewers
design of storm water best-management-practice (BMP) controls

The successful candidates experience and working knowledge of the following will be key factors:
H & H modeling and analysis
Water resources modeling techniques and software programs such as GeoPAK, StormCAD, 2d modeling, ArcHydro, TR-20 or similar
Drainage design, storm water management, and runoff mitigation analysis
Civil engineering design using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
Familiarity with AASHTO and DOT design standards is desirable
Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
