Our client is a manufacturing company who specialise in Electronic manufacturing. They only use services accredited to certified quality standards, and have an excellent team of dedicated staff to keep up their high standards of work. They are currently looking for a Test Engineer to join their busy and hardworking team.
As a Test Engineer you will be using bench test equipment to test assembly units in line with the company procedures. The ideal Test Engineer will have demonstrable experience within a similar role, be able to read schematics for diagnostic purposes and possess the ability to fault find.
The ideal Test Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:
Demonstrable experience within a similar role
Experience of using DVM, PSU’s Oscilloscopes, Pico-scopes and Variacs
Experience using software and firmware programming via PC using Microlab, Lattice, Pikkit and various other off the shelf programmers
Capability to read schematics for diagnostic purposes
Ability to fault find
Your duties as a Test Engineer would be:
Using bench test equipment such as Multi-meters, oscilloscopes programming tools, etc.
Reading and understanding and diagnosing failed electronics assemblies to component level with the use of the relevant schematic diagrams
Testing assembly units in line with procedures
Faulty diagnosis on assemblies to component level
£8.50 per hour
Temp to Perm position
Monday – Thursday; 7.30am – 4.30pm
Friday; 7.30am – 1.30pm
