100% management – but still hands on with a technical overview

* Manage 3 teams of developers

This is a role to deliver software in a modern microservices-based technical framework. It’s a pure management role where you will have to empower and lead a talented team of 8 – 14 Developers. However, you still must be deeply technical and have the ability to code with the latest tech if needed.

You will work in a highly agile environment on continuous releases where engineers are responsible for development and testing (unit and integration), automating testing and managing the infrastructure and environment.

Teams are given the freedom and trust to use the best tools for the job. Engineers build scaleable and distributed systems, using microservices platforms written in the best language for the job, and connecting using Kafka.

Experience needed:
Proven skills in a leadership role for a development / software engineering team.
Experienced at creating and delivering scalable distributed applications
Strong Agile background
The ability to let developers work autonomously while also keeping a collective team culture You must be in touch with the latest technical trends in order to understand the challenges your team face
