Job description
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Planning Analyst to work for an instantly recognisable organisation. You will be the subject matter expert for the business regarding all planningand forecasting matters. This vacancy plays a key role in the organisation and will have exposure to Senior Mangagement within the business.
Purpose & Responsibilities
– Produce accurate and timely forecasts ranging from short-term tactical to long-term strategic
– Produce short and long-term capacity plans to support operational delivery
– Support day-to-day decision making that has significant financial and reputational impacts, such as outsourcer billable hours
– Youll be responsible for day-to-day management, development and motivation for a Junior Planner
– Ownership and accountability for the accuracy and quality of all forecasting and resourcing plans for allocated business lines
– Key input into the annual budgeting process, providing plans for the operational management team
– Accurate manipulation of data from disparate data sources
– Build positive relationships based on mutual respect with customers and suppliers alike
– Ensure business-wide confidence in workforce management information
– Proactive analysis and recommendations made of required changes to support the evolving demand patterns
– Produce and maintain high quality and accurate forecasts to enable the optimisation and enhancement of customer service and sales delivery across all call centres
– Complete monthly analysis of top line planned vs actual call volumes
– Provide reporting on headcount and FTE levels, including variance to budget
– Identify opportunities for improvements in forecasting and make use of what if scenario modelling and impact analysis
– Track recruitment and attrition and give resourcing advice to the operational management team
– Highlight opportunities through research into variance in call centre resource levels and identifying underlying patterns, trends and causes
– Maintain a change control process for both inbound and outbound capacity planning with internal stakeholders
– Implement consistent resource optimisation processes and methodologies
– Manage and liaise with the scheduling area to ensure the optimisation of accurate schedules
Ability | Experience | Skills
– Experience of working in large, multi-skilled call centre environments
– Use of WFM tools to produce call forecasting information
– Experience of managing resources to a controlled and defined budget
– Stakeholder management
– Demonstrable commercial focus and business acumen in recommendations and decision making
– Capable of translating forecasting information into potential financial impacts
– Problem solving skills with the ability to translate problems and find resolutions
– Excellent IT and software skills, in particular with Excel and databases
– Strong influence and persuasion skills with the ability to overcome objections
– Analytical and logical thinker with the ability to apply creative solutions to resource constraints
– Prior knowledge of planning response to marketing campaigns
– Target driven and results focused
