They shall have the opportunity to grow, develop and gain exposure in the fields of Project and Programme Management in this world record breaking Zephyr Platform.The successful candidate will act in a supporting / administrative role helping ensure delivery of Zephyr HAPS projects within Airbus Defence and Space, UAS division. The role would suit someone with project administration skills looking to develop a career in Project Management.

Tasks & accountabilities
Provide log management support to Senior Project Managers. This will involve updating project plans and schedules, risk registers, issues and lessons logsDevelop and update weekly work package reports in conjunction with work package leadsAct as a project assistant on key Zephyr projectsTake on the project management of smaller projects where requiredHelp ensure all projects are managed to cost, time and qualityProvide support to the Project Manager with client interactionReportingReporting to the Head of Projects, Zephyr, within UAS, Airbus Defence and Space.AccountabilitiesSupport the timely delivery of cost constrained high altitude, long endurance flight projectsThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required skills
Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;Currently studying a business-related degree or Engineering.Proficient in MS Project and MS Office inc. Excel, Word, and Power Point with recent practical experienceGood communication skills and a personable approach that will unify team members who are often working under pressure.Ability to work autonomously once tasked with an activityExperience of delivering innovative, high technology systems operating in a harsh and remote environment.Able to achieve SC level security clearanceExperience supporting the management of high value, technology development projects including systems integration activities.Experience of working in a engineering, ideally aerospace is advantageous but not essential.
