Reporting directly to the Workshop supervisor.
Setting and Operating mainly Milling machines. However, occasional use of turning, drilling and grinding machines will be required. The objective being to achieve efficient manufacture of components from engineering drawings.
Responsibilities also include:
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within their section.
Reporting faults with equipment.
Retrain where needed to develop the business.
Cooperate with the Organisation, undertaking any other role given within their capabilities.
The successful candidate would have at least 3 years’ minimum experience in manufacturing and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
Problem solving innovative thought.
Ability to work with own initiative and or as a team player.
Knowledge of inspection equipment.
Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 4.00pm. Friday 7.00am – 2.30pm
