Reporting into the Assistant Merchandiser you analyse and effectively ensure that stock level per sku are set correctly to meet sales demand, potential availability for stores and online, whilst minimising overstocks and maximising profits.  This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing business and Merchandising Team. The position is full time permanent.Allocation and ReplenishmentExecutes accurate allocations according to buy plan ranging as defined by Branch Planning and B&M teamAdheres to territory trading recommendations in line with trade performanceContinually reviews allocation depths, by store, by product for territory and ecommChecks web reserve is sufficent and communicates/resolves short falls/excess concernsReview daily pick volumesEnsure sufficient stock in stores and online to potentialise sales of promotional activitiesEnsure CON lines have at least 95% availabilityReviews daily/weekly line performance with Assistant Merchandiser, ensuring optimas are correct and potential issues identifedResponsible for clearing of sku fragmentation and is aware of DC intake, pick and dispatch capacitiesIntakeReviews intake into the DC and highlights any issues to the wider team ie where stock is insufficent or excessiveGradingAllocating to system grades as defined by Branch PlanningAnalyse grading performance identifying opportunities and comunicates to Branch PlanningAllocate to what we’ve bought for – distribution to reflect agreed grading and rangingSystem SkillsAllocation and replenishment (BB Super User)Maintains A&R system parametersCommunicationStore visitsRegular management of MW Grades inbox, communicating to relevant team if necessaryRegular weekly meetings with category team to discuss current allocations, stock and future intake/distribution rangingTeam SupportIdentifies and shares best practice with fellow allocation colleaguesSupports category performance in delivering xxxSupports team with Monday analysis; runs departmental reports, ad hoc analysis and company reports such as P.E and promo trackerSets up weekly MD and price change sheetsCommunication & Presentation/influencing skillsNumeracyOrganisationSystemsCommercialitySystems/planning tools –allocation systems , merchandising data system, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of store operations / retail experience/ web operations/ supply chainIs professional at all timesCompetitive salary and benefitsHoliday allowance50% staff discount & 25% for family and friendsPension scheme
