The skills and knowledge you gain will improve your chances of a future role within the Airbus and should benefit your future studies.Structure Integration AIT is covering Composites & Structure Assembly, Mechanical Ground Support Equipments, Test and 3D Printing. The team is composed of Engineers, Technicians and AIT Managers. We Build and Test satellites structures for telecoms and earth observation satellites in a fast paced environment.

Tasks & accountabilities
During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;Develop, implement and support concepts for innovative tooling design and improve manufacturing and assembly process according to requirements and ergonomic standards.Work in improvement projects using lean and practical problem solving toolSupport the Assembly Integration & Test management team in process improvement initiatives such as digital KPIs, visual management tools etcThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;Industrial Engineering or Engineering backgroundInterest to learn new technical fields and organisational conceptsBusiness improvement fundamentalsPro-activity and dynamismPlease ensure that a covering letter detailing motivations and suitability for this position is included in your application.The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
