Join a FTSE100 engineering company as a Machine Support Engineer
This privately owned company, which was spun out from a FTSE100 engineering company, is looking for a Machine Support Engineer to join their growing team. The company has developed advanced haemodialysis systems for use both at home and in clinic and their product is seen as a "game changer" so this is an exciting opportunity for you to really make a difference to people’s lives.
As a Machine Support Engineer you’ll contribute significantly to the successful maintenance of the population of the company’s machine, both internally and externally. You’ll undertake machine build / upgrade / rework / repair and fault finding across all aspects of the machine (electronics, software, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics). In addition you’ll support the executive of machine and sub-system tests.
To succeed in this role of Machine Support Engineer you’ll need to have a passion for engineering – if you like each day being different then this may be the role for you. The position would suit somebody who likes a puzzle – the faults on the machine could be different every day and never seen before so you’ll need to like to get to the bottom of a problem. This role may also suit a Field Service Engineer who now wants to be single site based. Any experience of complex, software controlled, electro-mechanical products will hold you in good stead (as would medical / healthcare industry experience)
