We offer consultancy and engineering services for all aspects of the project lifecycle, throughout the lifetime of our customers” assets.We are looking to add a Lead Structural Engineer with extensive oil and gas experience to the team, based in our Aberdeen Office.Please note that this is a contract role.Detailed knowledge of structural steel design particularly topsides structural steelwork and jacket modificationsExperienced in structural steel detailing and calculationsIdeally with experience in onshore structural design, concrete structures and subsea structural design including associated foundationsProven understanding of structural design regulations and standards including API, DNV, Norsok, BS and Eurocode 3Experienced in performing structural stress analysis in FS2000 or Staad ProExperience at screening through to detail design level projectsExperience in structural fabrication and constructionProven ability to lead structural design projectsProficient in cost estimations and control of schedule and man hour budgetsAbility to write reports and present to clients effectivelyGood communication and team working ethic Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering DegreePrevious experience within a similar roleChartered engineer (desirable)We listened to our employees so our Core Benefits are funded by us and include a Group Pension Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance, Income Protection and funded membership to a Professional Institute.
