Insurance Claims Handler

Barker Munro Recruitment are delighted to be working with this successful insurance broker who are currently looking to fill an Insurance Claims Handler position within their professional offices based in either of their 2 Surrey locations.
As the Insurance Claims Handler you will need to provide a technical and efficient claims handling service to the companys clients for Personal Motor Insurance & to a lesser extent Commercial claims.
Main responsibilities of the role:
Loading claims information, including scanning
Liaison with Insurance Companies
Arranging repairs
Contact with insurers, customers, loss adjusters and account executives
Report preparation
Pursuing uninsured loss recovery
Negotiating settlements
To be successful in the role of Insurance Claims Handler you will need experience of handling Motor and/or Commercial claims for a minimum period of 1 year, knowledge of the Acturis system would be advantageous yet not essential.
