As a result of a major new project being undertaken in the East Anglia area, a number of opportunities have arisen for Highways Site Supervisors to join our client on a permanent basis.
For the successful candidate a vehicle, fuel card and PPE are provided, and we are ideally looking for candidates with no more than 3 points on their licence.
Candidates will need to be NRSWA accredited to Supervisor level, with a strong civils background.
-Supervision of gangs of direct labour undertaking highways excavations, cable laying, and reinstatements, ensuring all work is undertaken accurately and safely.
-Ensuring all signing, lining, and guarding is installed accurately and in a manner which ensures the safety of both workers and members of the general public.
-Undertaking of daily briefings with the Project Manager
-Undertaking of risk assessments and ensuring all other required paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely fashion
-Liaison with members of the public, ensuring the organisation is represented in a positive manner and that all interactions are courteous to enhance and protect the reputation of the company and offer a first class service to all stakeholders
-Experience supervising Mole Ploughs is highly desirable.
