Our client is a specialist recruitment organisation focusing on the Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables, Utilities & Marine sectors globally. Their dedicated offices in the UK and the Middle East focus on delivering tailored recruitment solutions to any global location.
Currently we are searching for an individual to join our client as Head of Contract Recruitment based in their Southampton office. This is a critical position for the business and will be pivotal for the company’s long term development. The role will act as a billing manager initially and will ultimately be responsible for all future contract business. The position will include international responsibility with an initial focus on UK, Europe & Middle East.
The role will oversee all technical markets and will involve a high level of new business development particularly into their Renewables, Utilities & Energy markets, with this in mind individuals with experience in these areas would be of particular interest (although not essential).
The successful candidate will have direct management responsibilities over our existing Engagement Consultant but will also be tasked with building a delivery team under them from the Southampton location initially and further into global hubs as the company develops.
There is existing business within the business, however we must stress that the initial focus of this role is based on growth.
What experience will you need to have?
The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced recruiter with the following experience:
Proven recruitment experience in a technical marketplace
Expert in contract recruitment
Skilled business developer with proven success
A real self-starter with the drive to assist in developing a successful global business
Demonstrable billing success
Ability to run a highly profitable desk initially and build a global delivery team
Management experience ideal but not essential (Lead consultant /Team leader could build into position)
International exposure a plus but not essential
Competitive basic salary paying circa 30,000
Opportunity to develop in to a Director position
Lucrative commission package where you can earn up to 30% of billings
