* Graduate Teaching Assistant- west London An outstanding Primary School in West London are looking for an experienced graduate to support several pupils with ASD. This Graduate Teaching Assistant position is open to any graduate with experience of working with ASD pupils in any environment. As such applications are particularly welcome from Psychology graduates who may have volunteered with charities or Special Schools, and therefore have an excellent grasp of the day to day care of pupils on the autistic spectrum. The Teaching Assistant role is to support in class or on a 1 to 1 basis a pupil on the autistic spectrum. The Teaching Assistant post will include monitoring, observing and helping to implement an individual education plan to aid a childs academic and pastoral progress. It is important as a Teaching Assistant that you have patience, understanding and empathy for the complicated symptoms of this disorder. In this job you will learn different ways of enabling learning via schemes and projects orchestrated by the inclusion manager.
