Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy in Glasgow for an initial 3 month contract. Our client works across a variety project sectors, including Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare, Education, Industrial and Residential. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join them working across a range of exciting and notable projects.
As the successful candidate, you will join their dynamic design team based in Glasgow and will be specifically focused on commercial and healthcare projects. You will be designing a range of electrical systems using your expert knowledge of Amtech and Dialux. You will mentor junior members of the team, whilst also supporting more senior members.
Essential Requirements:
Strong Building Services background
Excellent knowledge of technical software including Amtech and Dialux
Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in a similar role
Drive and determination
Forward thinking and able to anticipate problems
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified as well as Chartered or working towards Chartered status. Ideal candidates will also have experience working on projects and be in a position to start a new role quickly.
