Salary: £20,150 (uplift to £21,089 as of March 2019)

Location: Birmingham with regular travel to Solihull
Who will you be working for?
Capita are a recruitment supplier for one of the largest clinically-led commissioning organisations in England, who look after a population of around 1.3 million people and with a budget in excess of £1.8 billion – almost 2% of the total NHS resource. They are responsible for planning and commissioning health services for people living in Birmingham and Solihull and work as part of a large, complex system of health and social care which includes local authorities, providers, the independent sector and GP practices.
What you will be doing?
You will support the Corporate Governance Manager in managing the Frameworks and associated policies that are in place. There are around 180 policies and you will be responsible for liaising with various members of the business to update the policies, drive any approval processes, look at impact assessments and manage the templates, etc. (please note that you will NOT be writing the policies – just supporting the processes around them).
You will also manage the database of GP’s, Specialists and Service Providers and run reports from this to check against the services and providers, produce reports for the Committees who award, manage Excel spreadsheets with all the GPs and Providers on and process any data that needs to go into the database.
What can you bring to the role?
An administrative background as well as strong skills in Excel are a must, as are a get up and go attitude, ability to work on your own initiative and able to work in a very fast paced environment. The role will require you to be extremely organised and be happy to communicate with staff at all levels, chasing up outstanding work as necessary.
