Morgan businesses – Investor Services, Treasury Services, Commercial Bank, Merchant Solutions, Consumer and Business Bank, and the Private Bank. Services provided include execution of client instructed FX transactions related to corporate payments, securities trades, dividend and income receipts, corporate actions and related instructions. The Role The individual will work within the FX Product team within FX Services. He or she is expected to work closely with the FX Services trading desk, the FX Ecom desk, Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, and other partners both within and outside the Investment Bank to deliver a unified FX experience to FX Services clients. Based in London, responsibilities include: Product Management: Ongoing management and support of existing FX Services owned product sets Partner with broad range of stakeholders across the end to end FX flow to define new product capabilities and operating modelsWork with in house technology team in Agile methodology to deliver those new products Business Analysis:Partner closely with the FX Services Execution Desk, Client Management and Middle office teams to help define and capture their future state through shadowing, workshops, review sessions, data analysis, etc.Work with Technology to refine requirements into detailed specifications and agree optimal solutions that are then reviewed with ultimate end usersParticipate in definition of testing approaches and provide business sign off based on facilitation of key stakeholders review/inputBecome a Subject Matter Expert in both the current and future processing systems, using data analysis to identify the root cause of identified issues and associated corrective actionsWork with key control partners to implement robust procedures and processes to close any identified gaps Risk and Control:Partner with global teams in Business Control, Legal and ComplianceEnsure that the appropriate risk controls, including local regulatory considerations, are in place and adhered to for the productsDiscuss the operational procedures, data flow and system dependency of the existing business process. Identify risk, gap and improvement areasProvide subject matter expertise for pricing, bookings, risk management issuesParticipate in enhancements and new product UAT, Production Tests and roll out *Competencies:Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. You will be able to give examples of previous projects where you have displayed these skillsThe ability to lead development based projects from start to finish; partner across various product and technology teams, create and execute project plansExpert Excel and data analysis skills with ability to analyze large and complex sets of data to identify root cause issues and assess impact of required changes. You will be able to talk through previous analysis tasks and tools/techniques used.Strong problem solving skills with a structured and analytical approach that is able to challenge the status quoThe ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders to extract product needs and opportunities for enhancement, and the innovative insight to translate those needs into scalable product solutions and opportunitiesQuick learner with strong attention to detail Experience:Demonstrable experience in a project environment within financial servicesBusiness analysis and/or project management experienceExperience of FX Instruments, Payments or Custody processingAbout J.P.
