The company is the largest manufacturer of industrial trucks in Europe, the second-largest producer of forklifts globally and a leading provider of warehouse automation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned.) Attend customer project review and hazard analysis meetings, and guide the development of hazard mitigation and safeguarding plans for customer projects. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training for personnel involved in customer projects as it applies to the design and selection of the appropriate safeguards.  The audience can include Application Engineers, Project Managers, Installation personnel, Customer Service Technicians, and procurement personnel. Assist the Purchasing Department with audits to ensure that the Third Party equipment suppliers we use are fully compliant with the current Directives and EN standards Perform periodic customer Project site audits to check for compliance to the hazard mitigation and safeguarding plans, Dematic Product Safety guidelines, and CE Certification criteria. Ensure completion of the Machinery Directive Essential Health and Safety Requirements checklist for customer projects and Draft the CE Declaration for signature. Monitor Dematic’s CE Certification compliance by reviewing and auditing the CE compliance files for Dematic material handling solutions implemented at customer locations.  Verify that each department involved in the CE process has included the correct information into the Technical Construction File according to the CE Directives.Applicants should have a minimum HND in Engineering, with abilities in MS Office tools, be able to review and interpret CAD drawings, utilise Risk Assessment tools, and other analytical and planning tools. They should possess strong analytic and evaluation skills, and have the ability to work independently.
