The Role

In this business development role, you will be responsible for promoting travel management services to SME’s from various industries to generate profit and productivity for our client’s corporate travel services. Therefore, being the driving force in completing sales cycle from the initial appointment to the closing of deals. Alongside this, build and maintain knowledge of the company’s offering and market sector. This includes comprehensive technical understanding of travel management/ corporate services. The opportunity will revolve around a new business element making outbound cold calls and arranging several meetings with potential clients per week. Even though this is a field-based role, you would be required to come into the Surrey based office before going on client visits.

The Candidate

We require an individual who has an interest in a business development position working in a client facing role. Have high levels of motivations and drive to carry out a complete sales cycle from beginning to end, interest in bringing in new business and having a family feel with the company. Someone that is willing to travel regularly within Surrey and possibly other regions within the UK. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achieving targets within previous experiences of a new business role.

The Package

Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, initial indication is a base salary ranging from £40,000 – £50,000 plus benefits.
