We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a major fenestration hardware company.
Covering the North of England, the role will involve selling premium locks to locksmiths, distributors and architectural ironmongers, developing new business as well as servicing and maintaining existing accounts. Continuously developing sales by achieving agreed sales targets; maintain and expand the customer base within the area by identifying and contacting businesses and promoting the company’s products. You will be responsible for generating leads and managing your own diary with frequent travel throughout your territory.
Candidates must have a technical understanding and appreciation of locks / cylinder locking mechanisms with a demonstrable track record of building new business relationships and selling into locksmith and other markets. Applicants will need to be a self-starter with good organisational and commercial skills; be a confident communicator and hold a full UK Driving licence.
