As part of the Channels%0AEngineering team we are looking for analysts who are passionate about user%0Aexperience. You will be responsible for delivery from the initial idea through%0Ato implementation of the features used by both Barclays customers and our%0Acolleagues. The multi-channel applications are provided across web, mobile,%0Atelephony and branch platforms. The applications you will deliver make use of%0Athe latest UI, container and api technologies, deployed onto cloud platforms.%0A%0A%0A%0AYour Role%0A%0A Liaise with Barclays%0AUK business clients to help shape initial ideas into firm system requirements,%0Aensuring that they are sufficiently comprehensive and detailed to support%0Aeffective system development.%0A%0A Produce system%0Atechnical designs for small and medium changes, engaging, directing and%0Acollaborating with other internal and supplier teams as required delivering the%0AE2E solution.%0A%0A Provide estimates%0A& impact assessments for small / medium complexity engineering work.%0A%0A Maintain system%0Adesigns, ensuring quality and integrity throughout the various phases of the%0Asoftware development lifecycle.%0A%0A Review test strategies%0Ato guarantee the quality of the delivered system, assist in the diagnosis of%0Asystem problems encountered during testing.%0A%0A Assist in the%0Aresolution of live incidents and system problems as and when required.%0A%0A%0A%0AEssential Skills%0A%0A IT software design and%0Adevelopment.%0A%0A Experience of%0Arequirements analysis and functional design. %0A%0A%0A%0ADesirable Skills%0A%0A Large-scale blue-chip%0Aorganisations such as Barclays.%0A%0A Broad knowledge of%0ABarclays Group.%0A%0A End-to-end software%0Adevelopment lifecycle and methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).%0A%0A BSc degree equivalent%0Ato UK 2nd class Honours. %0A%0A%0A%0AAbout Us %0A%0ABarclays%0Ais a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products%0Aand services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards%0Aand wealth management, with a strong presence in our two home markets of the UK%0Aand the US.
