Area Sales Manager – Heavyside Buidling Products – Kent – Surrey – Sussex – South London
Our client specialises in the manufacture and supply of quality building materials, they are recognised as being one of the strongest brands in the construction industry and supplies builder’s merchants, housing developers and distributors throughout the UK and overseas with technically superior products.
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced sales professional to manage & develope a well established sales territory.
To carry out this role successfully, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Drive Sales across the product portfolio to deliver the sales plan.
Develop strong relationships with National Housebuilders and Contractors to drive specification.
Develop strong working relationships with key Builders merchant/distributors to achieve growth
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and a quality service throughout the sales process.
Work closely with BDMs and KAM within the business to achieve account plans
Participate in business networking and other business engagement activities as appropriate
Key skills & experience required:
Previous sales experience from within the building products sector.
Understanding of the supply chain/ either worked for or sold to builders merchants
Ability to work at both site & buying office level
Excellent account management skills coupled with a strong business development mentality.
