We are working with a leading global payments client that has an urgent requirement for an Application Support Specialist.
To be considered for the role candidates HAVE TO HAVE commercial experience with a MINIMUM OF 3 of the following;
Java/J2EE
Oracle Database (PL/SQL)
WSDL and Web Services
Oracle ODI 11g
Oracle Golden Gate 11g
Unix / Linux commands
Detailed understanding of core ITIL processes and procedures
The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring clients receive a swift and value outcome by participating directly in the resolution supply chain (resolving/supporting resolution).
The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in Application Management or Development.
The key deliverables for a Application Support Specialist are:
Production Support Activities
-2nd and 3rd line support for all company applications
-Triage of Infrastructure related incidents
-Ownership of technical recovery activities to ensure restoration of service quickly and effectively
-Communication with the service management and customer support teams
– Co-ordination of activities across the full supply chain including all 3rd Parties
Operational Readiness & Testing
-Perform and coordinate operational readiness testing for the systems Test System Support
-Management and Technical Support of the test (Functional / Non- Functional ) environments
Test System Support
-Management and Technical Support of the test (Functional / Non- Functional ) environments
