We require a Technical Project Manager, with excellent project management experience, as well as technical knowledge, to work as part of a dynamic team.
The post holder will be responsible for running technical projects and programmes for NHS Customers in the South West and also leading others in the delivery of specific related technical projects
The post holder will need to provide budget and financial assurance on their own projects within the IT Services Portfolio, ensuring value for money from project resources. Role holder will manage and performance monitor individual related project budgets, monitoring costs, expenditure and realise benefits, as the work progresses
The post holder must be able to communicate effectively with customers at every stage of the project in a variety of formats, so the customer is fully informed of the progress of the project at each stage of the project and to overcome barriers to understanding and information interpretation.
The post holder will have a main base (South Plaza, Bristol or Sanger House, Gloucester) within the CSU but will be required to travel to NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW CSU) sites and to customer locations on a regular basis.
As the post holder will need to travel to multiple locations throughout the duration of their contract, a full clean driving licence and use of a car (or access to other suitable alternative transport) is essential.
